UPSC Preparation: Polity Lecture on Preamble

Dr. Roman Saini gives an intro to Polity preparation.

From how it all began throughout the history of India including keyword definitions such as justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity from The Constitution of India is very educational and precise with constitutional amendments that explains the involvement and collaborations with foreign countries such as Great Britain and the United States. Within the youtube video lecture, attention is also brought upon Indian patriarchs Beohar Rammanohar Sinha of Jabalpur and Nandalal Bose whom painted the preamble of The Constitution of India.

Mostly directed towards how India became a sovereign nation and the maintenance of its sovereignty. By modeling the preamble of The Constitution of India to that of the preamble of the United States Constitution secures the Indian governmental practice of democracy based on the four (4) major principles of justice, liberty, equality, fraternity.

For within The Constitution of India, [s]ocial, [e]conomic and [p]olitical (SEP), Justice is therefore secured. [T]hought, [e]xpression, [b]elief, [f]aith, [a]nd [w]orship(TEBFAW) are secured under the principle of Liberty. Equality is secures all citizens of India opportunity to obtain and maintain a certain status. And the [d]ignity of (every) individual and the [u]nity and [i]ntegrity (DUI) of the Nation of India is secured by Fraternity. These four (4) principles are the foundation that upholds the political structure of the Nation of India.

Thus the fact that The Constitution of India's preamble has been deemed non-enforceable, but is an integral part thereof. This youtube video lecture further entails the very significance for the preamble. For the preamble signifies the sovereignty of the people of India aside from any foreign and/or outside governmental entity. Wherefore byway of the Constitution of India, the people of the [sovereign] Nation of India have the full fledged liberties and powers to elect their political officials whom are to represent the better interest of its people, and their responsibility and accountability to the people of India within its political system. For The Constitution of India is made by the and for the people of the Nation of India.

Herein this youtube video lecture, Dr. Saini also depicts how the Nation of India is both a democracy and a republic. In which the sovereign people of India utilizes its democracy to elect certain officials to implement and uphold laws to better govern its nation. Whereas, as a republic, the one elected officer upholds such elected office up to a five (5) year term. Again, the youtube video lecture strongly emphasis on how such events can only occur through the sovereignty of the people of the Nation of India. No outside and/or foreign entities are able to influence and/or deter the sovereignty and decision making powers of the people of the Nation of India.
